Earthwalking elicits the image of walking the earth barefoot and naked in order to feel her fully. Even though we won’t take our clothes off– apart from our shoes and socks - we will explore the connection we have with mother earth, with ourselves and with our surroundings. To truly connect to our spirit, the ground and the environment, we need to strip away the layers that stand in the way of that immediate experience. These layers are often blockages and tensions in our body – caused by physical contractions, but also by mental and emotional ones – which hinder us to feel completely and to be truly alive. The morning intensive uses a strong Forrest Yoga backbend sequence to get energetically and emotionally naked creating space to take off some layers of shielding, so that we can walk the earth in a freer way.
